Marc Lefkowitz, ICGC-II, has been a certified gambling counselor for the past 20 years. He previously worked as the lead trainer for the California Council on Problem Gambling, facilitating (among other classes) a 30-hour course for problem gambling counseling certification.
He also worked for the UCLA Gambling Studies Program training therapists, and coordinating outreach for California treatment programs. He was Program Director for an inpatient gambling treatment program and still develops gambling inpatient/outpatient programs. He currently is the Director of Programing for Kindbridge, a tele-therapy company focusing on treatment for problem gamblers and gamers.
He is a recovering gambler with nearly 40 years of recovery and, in 2012, he received California’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
